The water softener of Guangdong Tiansheng New Materials can be used as an enhancer in the pretreatment of dyeing and printing. However, heavy metal ions in water will combine with the molecules of the detergent to form insoluble metal salts, thereby reducing the washing ability of the detergent. These insoluble metal salts can also deposit on textiles, causing them to become hard and fuzzy, and affecting the quality of pretreatment. Softeners have a strong chelating ability for heavy metal ions, which can seal these metal ions to prevent them from adversely affecting detergents and improve the quality of pretreatment.

The water softener of Guangdong Tiansheng New Materials chelates calcium and magnesium ions in water through chelating dispersion, lattice distortion and other effects, increasing the volume of scale-forming deposits. When added to water, it can effectively inhibit the precipitation of scale. Compared with conventional water softeners, it has the characteristics of low dosage, stable performance, chelating with all ions of valence 2 and above, and good softening effect on calcium and magnesium ions in water. After addition, the water hardness is significantly reduced, effectively preventing the formation of scale.

Usage method and dosage

It can be added to the inlet pipe of the raw water by a metering pump or to the storage tank of the raw water in the calculated amount. Generally, the medication can be used in accordance with the following requirements.

For water with a hardness of no more than 100mg/L, add 20 grams of water softener per ton of water.

For every 10mg/L increase in the hardness of the feed water, the dosage of the chemical should be increased by 1 gram per ton of water.

3. When the hardness of the feed water is unknown, add an appropriate amount according to the above principle.

We generally recommend a dosage of 0.5 to 1.0%, and make appropriate adjustments based on the hardness of the water quality.
